We've most likely seen our last Double PD event in 2021 as the last one ended in November. In recent years, for obvious reasons, there are usually no more than four events a year, it must be one big event!

Looking at the next event, it is unlikely that we will see anything by the end of February 2022. As of 2014, the Double of Bonus XP event is now taking place.

Given how a few recent events have worked, we wouldn't expect any further changes as Jagex seems to have refined the formula. Players will receive 48 hours of double XP to use in approximately 10 days.

There was one outlier where the event lasted 21 days, but 10-day events are more likely to attract large numbers of players due to their limited nature.

What rewards are available?

Daily login rewards are normally available during the RuneScape Double XP Weekend. Every day after logging in, you will receive an item related to the event.
