Speaking of cold, it is not much cooler in our solar system than it is on the surface of Europe. Destiny 2: Beyond Light takes players to the frozen frontier of this icy moon as they battle the Fallen on the brink of human existence. With tons of new content to discover and tons of exotic gear to earn, Destiny 2: Beyond Light can be the time-consuming video game release you need during the holiday season.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

It is quiet and you are only half way to the top in the Himalayas in search of treasures, tombs and relics. Rise of the Tomb Raider follows the groundbreaking 2012 Tomb Raider reboot and is an improvement in every way. It is especially fun to discover the mountainous, frozen areas as you fight the powers of darkness on the roof of the world.

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft explodes every December during the annual Winter Veil celebration. New tasks, decorations everywhere, and even gifts to open on Christmas Day make it a great time to have fun. With the recent Shadowlands expansion attracting tons of new players, this Winter Veil is sure to be an unforgettable December.

Xmas Lemmings

We end our list with a classic. Xmas Lemmings dates back to 1991 and featured new levels for unlucky creatures, each with a Christmas theme. Depending on the version you play, you can have up to 32 levels of Christmas fun and frustration, making Xmas Lemmings the perfect stocking stuffer for everyone.
