The FIFA 22 RTTK Campaign brings something completely new to Ultimate Team this year, rewarding specific players for actual performances in the European group stage. RTTK stands for Road To The Knockouts, and players who have received the FIFA 22 update so far include Chelsea forward Timo Werner and Bayern winger Leroy Sane. FIFA 22 RTTK Cards: How Do They Work?

FIFA 22 RTTK (Road To The Knockouts) cards were introduced to Ultimate Team on Friday, October 15th. From that date, each selected player could get up to two upgrades for his new item.

The first method to improve a player is for his team to qualify for the knockout stages in their current European competition.

The second method of updating is linked to the results of individual matches. As of Tuesday, October 19, if a player's team won three of the four group stage matches, the card was also buffed.

Note that if a player's team is eliminated from the Champions League and consequently takes a place in the Europa League, then - rightly so! - do not earn points for upgrading the map.

In addition to the first batch of player cards issued in packs (see below), EA has promised "a series of challenges and goals for building the Road To The Knockouts team throughout the campaign." The first challenge in Objectives was for Lille midfielder Benjamin Andre and Piemonte defender Calcio * Matthijs de Ligt was the first prize in the SBC. FIFA 22 RTTK Team 1 fell on the launch day of the campaign on Friday, October 15th and has a total of 13 players.

Nine of them are from the Champions League, including Marquinhos (Paris SG, 89), Leroy Sane (FC Bayern, 88) and Rodrygo (Real Madrid, 84). As mentioned above, Benjamin Andre (Lyon, 83) and Matthijs de Ligt (Piemonte Calcio, 87) are not available on the transfer market.
