Read ThisTo say that Cyberpunk 2077 has had a rough launch is perhaps a little too little. Poor game performance on PS4 and Xbox One led to numerous refund requests, and Sony took the unprecedented step of pulling the game off the PlayStation Store. Despite the many patches released in recent months, Cyberpunk 2077 has still not returned to the PlayStation Store and its glitches and bugs have not been fully resolved.
While there are one or two bugs that mess up the game, most of the glitches in Cyberpunk 2077 are fairly harmless and a great source of entertainment for many. Perhaps that happened again when a Reddit user experienced a rather interesting bug that caused one of the NPCs in the game to track him indefinitely after the concert ended.
The Going Away Party, distributed by El Capitan in the early stages of Cyberpunk 2077, requires players to rescue a character named Flavio dos Santos from his 6th Street hideout. It should stop following the player at the end of the show, but after more than 30 hours of playback, Reddit user carrota1 is still with Flavio; and the results are pretty funny.
Redditor shared a video with clips from Flavio's pranks, with an NPC running underwater and hanging out in the background of various cutscenes. Perhaps the most humorous part of the movie is when the player tries to take care of Judy and Flavio tries to enter the room repeatedly. Apparently it disappears from time to time, but like the bad penny, it just does.
This isn't the only recently discovered vulnerability that offers players an improvised companion. Last week, another Redditor found out how to get Yunobo Link to track all over Breath of the Wild, although the effects of this glitch may not be as nice as this one. Undoubtedly, few games really rival Cyberpunk 2077 when it comes to comedic bugs and glitches, although CD Projekt Red hopes to change that pretty soon.
The developer recently released the Cyberpunk 2077 1.2 update patch, and while it appears to have fixed some of the many bugs that plagued the game, there are reports that it has resulted in some new ones as well. The update doesn't seem to have fixed the problem either, as carrota1 confirms that Flavio is still following them after the update; implying that CDPR still has a lot to do.
